Daniel Miramontes, Ana Miramontes Die in Two-Vehicle Accident on 10 Freeway Near Via Verde

 
SAN DIMAS, CA (November 9, 2020) — Two people died during Sunday morning’s two-vehicle accident on the 10 Freeway near Via Verde.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 2:08 a.m. on the eastbound side of the freeway.
 
Officers learned that a driver, perhaps 16- or 18-years-old, rear-ended a 2018 Nissan at a high rate of speed.
 
As a result, 41-year-old Ana Miramontes of Upland and Daniel Miramontes of Rialto died in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the occupants in the other car suffered moderate to major injuries, and paramedics ushered them to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center for treatment.
 
At some point during the accident, a black Honda Odyssey minivan crashed into a white sedan and two people fled on foot, witnesses informed CHP.
