Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Valley Highway [Kent, WA]

Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on East Valley Highway in Kent

 
KENT, WA (August 1, 2020) – Police confirmed that a man died in a pedestrian accident in the 27100 block of East Valley Highway on early Saturday morning.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident happened near 190th Street.
 
Based on a report, the victim was walking in the middle of the road when a car came and hit him. At this point, officials did not yet state if the collision occurred at a designated crosswalk.
 
As a result, emergency crews said the pedestrian died at the scene. They did not release his name pending kin notification.
 
The driver cooperated with investigators and showed no signs of impairment. At this point, officials don’t have additional details regarding the case.
