Eric Figueroa Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Judson Street [Redlands, CA]

Andrew Justin Vasquez Arrested for DUI after Motorcycle Crash on Judson Street near Laramie Avenue in Redlands

 
REDLANDS, CA (November 22, 2020) – Authorities identified Eric Figueroa as the victim who died in a motorcycle crash in the 400 block of Judson Street on Sunday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Laramie Avenue at approximately 6:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was traveling north on Judson at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a 2012 Nissan Altima pulled away from the curb and made a U-turn in front of his motorcycle. Subsequently, the motorcycle went down, trapping the victim under the vehicle.
 
As a result, the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office reported that the rider suffered fatal injuries. Medics transported him to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he died. Finally, officials identified him as Eric Figueroa, a 38-eyar-old Redlands resident.
 
Later on, police arrested the vehicle driver, 27-year-old Andrew Justin Vasquez of Redlands, on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and vehicular homicide. At this time, the Redlands Police Department is still investigating the case.
