Four Hurt after Accident on 80 Freeway [Sparks, NV]

Two Accidents Reported on 80 Freeway at Vista Boulevard in Sparks

 
SPARKS, NV (August 18, 2020) – Medics sent at least four people to the hospital after an accident on 80 Freeway on Tuesday morning.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the incident was one of the two collisions that happened near Vista Boulevard at approximately 11:15 AM.
 
Based on a report, it happened in the westbound lanes and involved two vehicles.
 
Emergency crews sent the four victims to a hospital with unknown injuries. The other incident happened in the eastbound lanes and involved one vehicle that rolled. No one was hurt in the crash.
 
The Nevada Department of Transportation said the accidents affected the flow of traffic on both eastbound and westbound lanes on the freeway.
 
It was not immediately known what caused the accidents. However, police continue to investigate the cases.
