Motorcyclist Killed in Crash at Fremont Street and North Bruce Street [Las Vegas, NV]
Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (July 10, 2020) — A motorcyclist died following Thursday’s crash at Fremont Street and North Bruce Street in Las Vegas.
According to Las Vegas Metro Police Department, the crash occurred around 10:07 a.m. and involved a 2001 Suzuki GSX-R and a 1994 Buick Roadmaster.
Evidence at the scene points out that the Suzuki was traveling westbound on Fremont Street and entered the intersection on a red traffic light. That is when the motorcyclist collided with the southbound Buick as the Buick entered the intersection on a green traffic light.
The front of the Suzuki struck the left side of the Buick, ejecting the motorcyclist from the bike.
Paramedics responded shortly thereafter and transported both patients to UMC Trauma for further medical attention.
However, despite life-saving efforts, the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries.
Reports say the Buick driver sustained only minor injuries in the accident.
As of now, the collision remains under investigation and anyone with information related to this crash should contact the LVMPD.
