Arsen Sargsyan Injured in Truck Crash on 5 Freeway [Red Bluff, CA]
Two Injured after Semi-Truck Hits a Cow near Flores Avenue
RED BLUFF, CA (April 5, 2020) – Police identified Arsen Sargsyan as the driver injured in a truck crash on 5 Freeway southbound on Sunday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Flores Avenue around 8:35 PM.
Sargsyan, 47, of North Hills drove a 2010 International tractor-trailer when he collided with a black cow standing in his lane of traffic. As a result, the truck crossed into the northbound lanes and hit a 2000 Oldsmobile.
The driver of the car, Trenton Morrisseau, 45, of Cottonwood, suffered major injuries and was transported to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital. Sargsyan sustained minor injuries and was only treated at the scene.
Both vehicles sustained major damage. Drugs and alcohol were not factors in the collision.
