19-Year-Old Man Killed in Rollover Crash on Corning Road [Corning, CA]
Car Overturned in Fatal Crash near Freeman Schoolhouse Road
CORNING, CA (April 19, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that a 19-year-old man died in a rollover crash on Corning Road on early Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Freeman Schoolhouse Road around 3:00 AM.
The victim drove a 2001 Honda Civic at an unknown speed when he drifted on to the gravel shoulder as he entered a curve in the roadway. As a result, the car was overturned while it attempted to enter the roadway.
The victim ejected from the car. Paramedics said that he suffered major injuries and died at the scene. His name was not released pending notification of the next of kin.
