Multiple Injuries Reported in Rollover Accident in Reno
RENO, NV (April 21, 2020)—Three people suffered minor injuries following a multi-car crash on Rio Poco Road and South McCarran Boulevard Thursday afternoon.
According to officials, one car overturned at some point when the three cars collided. As a result, paramedics brought two people to a hospital and a third patient declined medical transport.
Since one vehicle overturned, the Reno Fire Department had to perform extrication operations to free a victim inside the car.
Officials investigated the area and combed the scene for evidence. As a result, commuters had to make the most out of one open lane on McCarren Boulevard.
Regarding the cause of the crash, officials have determined that a red light violation might have contributed to the accident.
