Lanes Closed After Injury Crash near Pamela Lane
FALLBROOK, CA (April 14, 2020) – Two people suffered injuries in a sideswipe accident on East Mission Road on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Pamela Lane at about 2:20 PM.
Reports showed a Ford F350 pickup hauling a trailer and a Kia sedan heading in opposite directions when they sideswiped each other in the middle of the roadway.
Two occupants of the Kia were taken to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido for treatment of minor injuries.
Both lanes of East Mission were blocked for a time while rescue and clearing operations took place in the area.
No other details were released. However, an investigation is ongoing.
