Driver Killed in Rollover Crash on North White Road [San Jose, CA]

Vehicle Overturned in Fatal Collision near Gion Avenue

 
SAN JOSE, CA (April 13, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that a driver died in a rollover crash on North White Road on Monday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Gion Avenue around 4:20 PM.
 
San Jose Police revealed that a black 2017 Nissan Rogue was attempting to turn left onto Gion when it was hit by a green 2002 Volkswagen Passat. As a result, the Volks overturned and collided with several unoccupied parked vehicles.
 
The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office proclaimed the driver and only occupant of the Volkswagen dead at the scene. His identity was not yet known.
 
The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. However, the crash is under investigation.
