Bryan Bogan Fatally Hit by Car on Del Amo Boulevard [Long Beach, CA]
61-Year-Old Man Killed in Accident near Locust Avenue
LONG BEACH, CA (March 24, 2020) – Authorities identified Bryan Bogan as the victim who was fatally hit by a car on Del Amo Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Locust Avenue around 12:40 PM.
The accident happened when 50-year-old Charlette Colton of Lakewood crashed his 2000 Dodge Caravan into a 1996 Honda Accord. The impact of the collision caused the Honda to strike a 1996 Mercedes-Benz E320. 61-year-old Bogan and a 71-year-old Torrance were standing between the Accord and the Mercedes at the time of the accident.
The two men were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Bogan died due to severe injuries.
Colton exited his vehicle and fled the scene but was later arrested.
An investigation is ongoing. However, no other details are available.
