Garrett Corlis Injured in DUI Dirt Bike Crash on Farm Lane [Mabton, WA]
Garrett Corlis Hospitalized after Dirt Bike Accident with James Beaumont
MABTON, WA (April 14, 2020) — A 25-year-old man suffered a serious head injury following a DUI dirt bike collision on Farm Lane near East Euclid Road.
According to the Washington State Patrol, an SSR 125cc dirt bike, operated by 25-year-old Garrett K. Corlis, crashed into another dirt bike just three miles south of Grandview.
Soon after, paramedics transported Corlis to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland with a serious head injury. The other dirt bike rider — 56-year-old James K. Beaumont of Ellensburg — was not hurt.
Authorities determined from the investigation that neither rider wore a helmet at the time of the crash. In addition, DUI contributed to the accident.
The effects of alcohol and drugs can result in devastating circumstances. To avoid a car accident, wait until you are sober before operating a motor vehicle. As a result, you can minimize the dangers and maximize your safety by resorting to other forms of transportation.
