Conrado Acedo Killed in Solo-Car Crash Near Fullerton Avenue [Corona, CA]
Conrado Acedo Dies in Single-Vehicle Accident Near Fullerton and East Ontario Avenues
CORONA, CA (April 14, 2020) — A 21-year-old man died in a single-vehicle accident Saturday morning near Fullerton and East Ontario avenues.
According to Corona police Sgt. Chad Fountain, Conrado Cuica Acedo was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. The 3:30 a.m. crash took place when the 2004 Honda Accord that he and his 3-year-old daughter were occupying plowed into a pole near the intersection.
An officer arrived shortly after the crash and found Acedo ‘s daughter still in the vehicle and with minor injuries.
Paramedics transported her to a hospital and released her to the custody of her mother.
It’s unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a factor, per Fountain. However, the Corona Police Department encourages anyone with insight into this accident to call Officer David Dopson at 951-817-5845 or at David.Dopson@CoronaCA.gov.
