Teen Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Hazel Avenue [Orangevale, CA]
Fatal Vehicle and Pedestrian Crash in Orangevale
ORANGEVALE, CA (April 10, 2020) – Police confirmed that a teen died in a pedestrian accident on Hazel Avenue on Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Oak Avenue around 6:00 AM.
Reports showed the teenage boy running across the road when an unidentified vehicle struck him.
Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Police did not identity the victim at this time. However, he is believed to be between 13 to 15 years old.
It is unclear why the teen ran across Hazel Avenue. However, an investigation continues.
