Liliana Delgado and Rosemary Marin Die in Crash on 55th Avenue [Glendale, AZ]
Rosemary Marin, Liliana Delgado Killed in Glendale Fatal Car Crash
GLENDALE, AZ (April 5, 2020) – Liliana Delgado and Rosemary Marin were identified as the mother and daughter who died in a crash on 55th Avenue on late Sunday evening.
According to Glendale Police, the accident happened near Bethany Home Road at approximately 10:30 PM.
Reports showed that the crash occurred after a red Mustang failed to stop at a red light. As a result, it crashed into a Honda minivan and the traffic light pole.
39-year-old Delgado and 18-year-old Marin died at the scene. The driver of the Mustang was taken to a hospital with serious, but injuries that aren’t life-threatening.
The Mustang was seen crushed underneath the traffic light pole.
Police are investigating whether impairment or speed were factors in the crash.
