Cow Causes Car and Truck Crash near Flores Avenue
RED BLUFF, CA (April 5, 2020) – Police reported that 45-year-old Trenton Morriseau suffered injuries in a head-on crash on 5 Freeway on Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Flores Avenue at approximately 8:30 PM.
Investigators said a semi-truck was southbound when it hit a cow that was standing in the road. The truck careened across the center divider before colliding into an oncoming car.
The driver of the car, Morriseau of Cottonwood, sustained major injuries in the impact. The semi-truck driver had minor injuries.
