Woman Hospitalized in Pedestrian Accident on Flamingo Road and Koval Lane [Las Vegas, NV]
Pedestrian Hit, Injured by Car in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (April 7, 2020) — A woman sustained critical injuries following Saturday’s pedestrian accident on Flamingo Road and Koval Lane.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the 26-year-old Las Vegas woman sustained critical injuries in the 7:30 p.m. accident.
Following the crash, the 71-year-old man driving the 2018 Dodge Ram remained at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
Police determined that the Dodge vehicle struck the woman as she tried running from the northwest corner to the southeast corner of the intersection. Now, she remains in critical condition at University Medical Center.
Drugs and alcohol have been ruled out as possible factors in the accident. However, an investigation regarding the liabilities remains in place.
