Person Dies in Moreno Valley Pedestrian Accident on Redlands Boulevard and Dracaea Avenue
MORENO VALLEY, CA (April 7, 2020) — One person died Sunday morning following a pedestrian accident on Redlands Boulevard and Dracaea Avenue.
According to Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies, the incident took place around 4:21 a.m.
Authorities have yet to determine what lead the driver to fatally strike the pedestrian, whom authorities described as a man in his 30s.
Following the accident, the driver contacted deputies to the scene. There, sheriff’s deputies closed off the intersection due to investigations. In their preliminary investigation, they determined that alcohol and drugs did not play a role in the crash; however, an ongoing investigation of the details remains.
