Freddy Tombo Dies in Pedestrian Accident Near North Granite Reef Road [Scottsdale, AZ]
Freddy Tombo Fatally Hit by Trash Truck Near North Granite Reef and East Camelback Roads
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (April 3, 2020) — A transient died Wednesday morning after a garbage truck hit him near North Granite Reef and East Camelback roads.
Freddy Tombo has been identified as the fatal victim whom the garbage truck hit near the intersection.
Scottsdale Police officials have released information surrounding the accident. Officers determined that the garbage truck driver was traveling through an alley that’s part of a normal trash collection route when it struck the 34-year-old.
According to the police, Tombo died at the scene. The transient had been dressed in dark clothing while sleeping under some trash at the time of the accident.
No other information was available, and the liabilities of this accident have yet to be confirmed.
