Frankie Sanchez Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Marshall Road [Patterson, CA]
Frankie Sanchez Killed in Hit-and-Run Bicycle Crash on Marshall Road Near Tulip Avenue
PATTERSON, CA (April 3, 2020)—A 51-year-old man died Wednesday in a hit-and-run bicycle crash on Marshall Road near Tulip Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, authorities believe a 2000 to 2006 GM pickup or SUV model struck 51-year-old Frankie Sanchez of Patterson. Specifically, the car might be a Chevrolet Silverado, a Chevrolet Avalanche, a Chevrolet Tahoe or a Chevrolet Suburban. Authorities are also considering a GMC Sierra or a GMC Yukon.
The crash took place around 7 p.m. when the hit-and-run vehicle struck Sanchez from behind. Investigators determined that Sanchez was riding westbound before being struck to the ground and dying at the scene.
