One Seriously Injured, One Arrested in DUI Crash on South Virginia Street [Reno, NV]
Injuries Sustained in Crash Involving DUI Driver on South Virginia Street near Plumb Lane in Reno
RENO, NV (January 2, 2021) – One person suffered injuries in a DUI crash on South Virginia Street on Saturday evening.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened just south of Plumb Lane around 8:15 PM.
Based on a report, a car crashed into an RTC bus in the lanes. However, the details that led to the accident were not immediately available.
As a result, the passenger in the car sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, no one on the bus was hurt in the incident.
Later on, Reno Police Department officers arrested the car driver for DUI. At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
