One Killed, Three Injured in Head-On Crash on Roseville Road [Sacramento, CA]
Two Vehicles Involved in Fatal Head-On Crash on Roseville Road near Oakhollow Drive in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 24, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person died in a head-on crash on Roseville Road on Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just south of Oakhollow Drive around 12:45 PM.
Based on a report, a red Toyota Corolla was traveling northbound on Roseville prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, it went into southbound lanes and hit a white pick-up truck head-on.
As a result, the passenger on the right-rear side of the Toyota died in the incident. Officials only identified the victim as a 24-year-old. In addition, the 22-year-old Toyota driver had major injuries while a 26-year-old woman in the right front passenger seat had life-threatening injuries. The 57-year-old truck driver suffered minor injuries.
It is unknown if DUI was a factor in the crash. At this point, no other details are available.
