One Dead in High-Speed Car Accident
LAKEVIEW, CA (March 26, 2020) — A man lost his life in a high-speed car accident on Ramona Expressway near Hansen Avenue on Tuesday.
The crash happened at 1:30 p.m. According to police, one man died while paramedics transported two people to a hospital.
The California Highway Patrol stated several occupants in a Ford sedan fled westbound. According to report, the people ran after committing a robbery in San Jacinto.
However, the car veered out of control at a high rate of speed. As a result, it crashed into a pole, causing the car to split.
Upon arrival, Riverside County Fire Department paramedics declared one person dead at the scene. They also transported two other patients to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley for treatment of moderate injuries.
