One Killed, Seven Injured in Accident on Compton Avenue [Florence-Graham, CA]
Three Vehicles Involved in Fatal Crash on Compton Avenue and East 81st Street in Florence-Graham
FLORENCE-GRAHAM, CA (December 9, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person died in an accident on Compton Avenue on Wednesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near East 81st Street.
Based on a report, three vehicles collided in the lanes. Officials described one of them as a Line 55 Metro bus. However, the Los Angeles County Fire Department did not yet release the details that led to the accident.
As a result, firefighters along with the paramedics pronounced one individual dead at the scene. Officers did not yet release the victim’s name pending kin notification. In addition, a total of seven other people suffered unspecified injuries.
At this point, the crash remains under investigation.
