Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Car in Richmond
RICHMOND, CA (December 17, 2020)—A 60-year-old man lost his life Tuesday night following a pedestrian crash on Richmond Parkway near Pittsburg Avenue.
According to reports, California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene around 5:25 p.m. There, CHP officers learned that a 60-year-old man died after a Toyota Tacoma struck him in the southbound lanes.
The crash remains under investigation; however, detectives believe the pedestrian tried crossing from the center divider to the sidewalk when the driver struck him in the No. 2 lane.
