Jhonus Gonzalez, Justin Ziegler Die in Single-Car Accident on East Speedway Boulevard at North Rancho Del Jefe Loop

 
TUCSON, AZ (December 15, 2020)—Two men died during Sunday’s single-vehicle accident on East Speedway Boulevard at North Rancho Del Jefe Loop.
 
According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal crash that took down some power lines befell around 3:45 a.m.
 
Under uncertain circumstances, a driver lost control of the wheel, while traveling at excessive speeds, and crashed just east of Tanque Verde Loop Road.
 
Soon after, police responded, finding 26-year-old Jhonus Gonzalez and 25-year-old Justin Ziegler deceased upon arrival.
 
Investigators closed the area to investigate the details that could explain the crash further, while crews from Tucson Electric Power repaired the power lines.
