Man Dies in Parkland Pedestrian Accident

 
PARKLAND, WA (December 10, 2020)—One person died Tuesday evening in a pedestrian accident on 112th Street East near D Street East.
 
According to reports, the fatal accident happened around 6 p.m. in the 600 block of 112th Street East.
 
Under unknown circumstances, a 77-year-old man struck a 49-year-old male pedestrian. The driver told investigators that the pedestrian stepped out in front of his car when he was unable to stop in time.
 
At this time, the accident remains under investigation and any witnesses willing to help detectives should contact the department.
