GILROY, CA (December 9, 2020)—A man suffered major injuries during Sunday’s hit-and-run pedestrian accident near Broadway and Wayland Lane.
According to police, the incident happened around 11:30 a.m., just before police learned news of the crash.
Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck the 48-year-old pedestrian, whom authorities found lying in the road.
Per reports, the driver of the vehicle left the area, leaving authorities to determine the suspect’s identity and whereabouts.
