MERCED, CA (December 7, 2020) — A driver died following Saturday’s single-vehicle accident near East South Bear Creek Drive and Parsons Avenue.
According to the Merced Police Department, the fatal crash happened around 4:06 a.m.
At the scene, police officers found a black Dodge Caravan on the south side at the bottom of the creek. Upon canvassing the area, officers located two adult males and two adult females. The driver appeared to have sustained major injuries and perished at the scene shortly thereafter.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the three passengers to an area hospital for treatment.
