Timothy Jensen Killed in Motorcycle Crash Involving DUI Driver on 19th Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]
Erin Jaco Arrested, Timothy Jensen Dies after Phoenix Motorcycle Crash
PHOENIX, AZ (December 8, 2020) – Police identified Timothy Jensen as the victim who died in a motorcycle crash on 19th Avenue on Wednesday morning.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near McDowell Road around 6:00 AM.
Based on a report, Jensen was on his motorcycle turning left from northbound 19th Avenue to McDowell at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a Toyota Prius ran a red light and hit him.
As a result, Jensen died in the incident. He was 58 years old. Police identified the driver of the Prius as 38-year-old Erin L. Jaco. She was not hurt in the crash.
Later on, investigators said Jaco displayed signs of impairment. Officers arrested and booked her on suspicion of manslaughter.
At this point, no other details were immediately available. However, Phoenix police continue to investigate the case.
