Fatal Two-Vehicle Accident in Tustin

 
TUSTIN, CA (November 23, 2020)—A man died Thursday night in a two-vehicle accident on the 5 Freeway near Tustin Ranch Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a driver of an SUV slammed into the rear of a semi-truck around 11:50 p.m.
 
As a result, the man, whom officers found outside of his SUV, died in the crash.
 
However, details fall short, and investigators have yet to conclude whether he’d been ejected or struck by oncoming cars.
 
At this time, the accident requires further investigation by authorities. If witnesses can help detectives determine the underlying cause, please contact the CHP.
