Officer, Two Others Hospitalized after Chain-Reaction Crash on Brookhurst Street [Anaheim, CA]
Car Crashes into Vehicle Involved in Anaheim Accident on Brookhurst Street near Lincoln Avenue
ANAHEIM, CA (November 16, 2020) – Medics transported an Anaheim Police officer and two other people to the hospital after a chain-reaction crash on Brookhurst Street on Monday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened between Lincoln Avenue and Catalina Avenue.
Based on a report, the officer responded to an initial incident after a BMW SUV rear-ended an Acura SUV. Subsequently, a Honda Civic slammed into the back of the BMW, causing a chain reaction crash.
As a result, crews sent the officer and a driver of one of the SUVs to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. In addition, they also transported the Honda drive to the hospital with minor injuries.
Officials closed Brookhurst after the incidents. This time, the causes of the both collisions are not yet available.
