One Killed in Single-Vehicle Paris Hotel-Casino Parking Garage Crash near Las Vegas Boulevard in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 12, 2020) – Authorities arrested Scott Thomas after a crash in the Paris Hotel-Casino parking garage on Thursday evening.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Las Vegas Boulevard around 10:00 PM.
Based on a report, Thomas was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Blazer on the fifth floor of the hotel’s garage. Due to unknown reasons, it hit a block wall of the garage.
As a result, emergency crews transported three passengers in the car to Sunrise Hospital injuries. Unfortunately, one of the victims, a 43-year-old woman, died. As of today, officials have not yet released the victim’s name pending kin notification.
Later on, police arrested 39-year-old Scott Thomas from Montclair, California, for driving under the influence. At this point, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is still investigating the case.
