Bicyclist Dies After Struck by Car at 8th Street and Northup Way [Bellevue, WA]
Person Killed in Bellevue Bicycle Accident
BELLEVUE, WA (March 24, 2020)—A man lost his life Sunday afternoon following a bicycle crash with a vehicle at Northeast 8th Street and Northup Way.
According to police, the 4 p.m. crash happened at the intersection. Police learned that a driver of an unknown model struck the 63-year-old New Castle man while attempting a left-hand turn.
Unfortunately, the unidentified victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene. As for the driver involved, sources featured no information regarding at what speed the person was traveling or whether that person sustained any injuries.
Because many details are uncertain, authorities plan to investigate this crash further.
