Teen Driver Dies in Solo-Car Accident at Galleria Boulevard Off-Ramp at Highway 65 [Roseville, CA]
Deadly Single-Vehicle Crash in Roseville
ROSEVILLE, CA (November 17, 2020)—A teen driver perished Sunday evening following a single-vehicle accident at the Galleria Boulevard off-ramp at Highway 65.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two other teens sustained moderate to major injuries in the 7:30 p.m. accident.
Per investigators, a 2017 Ford Mustang began exiting the highway at a high rate of speed; however, the muscle car veered off the roadway and crashed, killing the 19-year-old Lincoln driver.
Upon arriving, authorities found a 17-year-old boy from Rockland and a 16-year-old girl from Roseville also injured. Neither of them nor the driver was in a seatbelt, officials confirmed.
At this time, an ongoing investigation remains in place as detectives determine the precise events and cause that could explain the crash.
