Driver Dies in West Sacramento Truck Crash on Old River Road

 
WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (November 16, 2020) — A man died in a single-truck crash on Old River Road near County Road 124.
 
According to the Woodland area California Highway Patrol, the 1:45 p.m. crash happened near the 5 Freeway on-ramp.
 
The man, the sole occupant of the truck, died when his truck crashed into a ditch.
 
At this time, CHP officers have ruled out alcohol and drugs as possible factors of the accident. However, they remain diligent in determining the major cause that could explain this accident.
