Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash Near Mission and King Streets [Santa Cruz, CA]
Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Car in Santa Cruz
SANTA CRUZ, CA (November 9, 2020)—A 45-year-old man died Thursday night after being hit by a vehicle near Mission and King streets.
According to police, the incident happened around 6:45 p.m. Upon arriving, officers found the involved vehicle just north of Mission Street. Meanwhile, paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the injured victim to Dominican Hospital where he died.
At this time, authorities have not released his name as officers have yet to notify his family. Additionally, news reports revealed no information on the driver or whether he or she remained at the scene.
