Man Dies in Fallbrook Pedestrian Accident
FALLBROOK, CA (November 3, 2020)—A 53-year- old man died Sunday in a pedestrian accident on South Mission Road near Pepper Tree Lane.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Toyota Camry, traveling northbound on South Mission Road, struck the Fallbrook pedestrian who purportedly ran westbound across the northbound lanes.
Just after the 12:15 a.m. accident, paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the victim to Temecula Valley hospital where he died.
At this time, the victim’s name will be withheld pending family notification.
As for the 58-year-old man driving the Toyota, he stayed at the scene and was not believed to be under the influence at the time of the incident.
