Martha Rodriguez Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Crossley Road at Sarah Street in Cathedral City
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA (October 29, 2020) – Police confirmed that a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian identified as Martha Rodriguez on Crossley Road on Thursday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the intersection of Sarah Street around 7:45 PM.
Based on a report, the 40-year-old woman was on the road when a vehicle came and struck her. However, the details that led to the accident were not immediately available.
As a result, first responders found the woman suffering major injuries. She later died on the scene. The Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified Martha Rodriguez as a resident of Cathedral City.
The Cathedral City Police Department Traffic Team does not know if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. However, officials continue to investigate the case.
