Skateboarder Dies After Being Hit by Hit-and-Run Driver in Antelope
ANTELOPE, CA (November 2, 2020) — A woman died following Friday’s hit-and-run skateboard crash on Watt Avenue near Elverta Road.
According to California Highway Patrol officials, the driver struck the 40-year-old Sacramento woman as she was riding her skateboard in the bike lane around 7:10 p.m.
Due to her injuries, the unidentified victim died at the scene.
It is unknown at this time if charges will be brought against the driver of the vehicle.
At this time, information surrounding the circumstances remains unclear. However, if anyone has information about the driver or vehicle’s whereabouts, please contact the CHP at 916-348-2300.
