49-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Jamacha Road [El Cajon, CA]

EL CAJON, CA (October 31, 2020) -A man suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian crash in the 400 block of Jamacha Road on Saturday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Dorothy Street around 6:25 PM.
Based on a report, the 49-year-old victim was crossing the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a Toyota pickup came and struck the victim.
As a result, paramedics found him unconscious but breathing with serious head and leg wounds. They brought the victim to the hospital for treatment.
El Cajon Police said the driver remained at the scene and isn’t believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. However, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
