LAS VEGAS, NV (October 30, 2020) — A Las Vegas man suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident at West Sunset Road and South Valley View Boulevard.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the pedestrian accident happened around 4:35 a.m.
Police believe a driver traveling eastbound on Sunset Road drove through a green traffic light before striking the person in the roadway.
According to a statement, police say the pedestrian may have been crossing against a Do Not Walk sign at the time.
Shortly after, paramedics transported the 46-year-old Las Vegas man to a hospital in critical condition while the driver of the truck stayed at the scene, showing no signs of impairment.
