EDGEWOOD, NM (October 22, 2020) – Emergency crews rescued a driver after a crash involving a semi-truck on 40 Freeway on Thursday morning.
According to the police, the collision happened at mile marker 188 at approximately 5:20 AM.
Based on a report, the truck rolled over in the incident. However, the details that led to the accident were not immediately available.
The impact trapped the driver inside the vehicle for hours before Albuquerque Fire Rescue and Santa Fe County Fire crews helped to get him out. Subsequently, crews airlifted him to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
