Hit-and-Run Driver Strikes Pedestrian in El Mirage
EL MIRAGE, AZ (October 27, 2020) — A woman walking with her children sustained injuries in Thursday’s hit-and-run pedestrian accident near North 122nd Drive and West Moreno Boulevard.
According to news reports, the hit-and-run crash happened around 7:30 p.m.
Police reported that the vehicle struck the woman on a sidewalk. As of now, police have not released her condition.
Based on the evidence, the El Mirage Police Department believes the hit-and-run vehicle may be a late 1990s to early 2000s Toyota Camry or Toyota Avalon model. Additionally, the gray car may have non-tinted windows and visible damage to the front passenger side.
As for the driver, police described him as a light-skinned male in his 20s with shaggy blonde to light brown hair.
