Woman, Man Killed in Head-On Accident Near Baseline Road [Buckeye, AZ]
2 Drivers Die in Buckeye Two-Vehicle Collision
BUCKEYE, AZ (October 27, 2020) — Two drivers died early Friday following a head-on accident near Baseline Road and South Turner Road.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, the two cars collided around 4:40 a.m.
Per reports, one vehicle carried a man who died at the scene and the other vehicle carried a woman, along with her three children, including an infant.
Upon arriving, paramedics rushed the female driver to a hospital where despite having received treatment, she passed away.
The two children and the infant were also brought to a nearby hospital but with non-life-threatening injuries. Reports noted that all three should survive their injuries.
At this time, the main cause of the accident requires further investigation by authorities. If anyone has news related to this crash, please contact the Sheriff’s Office.
