Car Involved in Fatal Accident on Highway 17 near Hebard Road in Los Gatos

 
LOS GATOS, CA (October 23, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person died in a car crash on Highway 17 on Friday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just north of Hebard Road just before 8:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, a car was traveling on the highway when it careened off a cliff. The car was down about 150 feet from the roadway. However, officials did not yet state the details that led to the crash.
 
As a result, one person died at the scene. Police did not yet release the identity of the victim pending kin notification.
