Jett Clark, Sadie Bradford Injured in DUI Fatal Accident on Highway 99 [Oroville, CA]
Jett Clark, Sadie Bradford Hospitalized after Single-Car Accident That Killed Passenger
OROVILLE, CA (October 26, 2020) — A 21-year-old passenger died Thursday in a possible DUI rollover accident on Highway 99 near Paseo Road.
According to reports, the solo-car incident happened around 5:00 a.m. on Highway 99 South.
Investigators say a 2000 Honda Accord, occupied by three people, drifted toward the westbound shoulder at an unknown speed before it struck a tree. Neither of the three occupants was wearing his or her seatbelt at the time of the crash, leading to severe consequences.
According to statements, a 21-year-old passenger, described as an Oroville man, died in the crash.
However, Sadie Bradford, 27, grew successful in exiting the crashed vehicle on her own, suffering only minor injuries while the 29-year-old driver, Jett Clark, needed fire paramedics’ assistance to exit the wreckage.
In response to their injuries, paramedics transported both patients to a nearby hospital for treatment.
At this time, police believe alcohol and drugs may have contributed to the accident. Yet if anyone can help authorities determine the leading events here please contact the department.
