Oscar Suarez Arrested, Guillermo Cartagena Hurt after Pedestrian Accident on Bullard Avenue [Los Angeles, CA]
75-Year-Old Guillermo Cartagena Struck and Injured in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 22, 2020) – Police arrested Oscar Suarez following a pedestrian accident on Bullard Avenue on Thursday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Alhambra Avenue.
Based on a report, Suarez surrendered at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollenbeck station after a hit-and-run that injured a 75-year-old man. Guillermo Antonio Cartagena was walking across Bullard when Suarez’s white pickup truck hit him.
Subsequently, Suarez stopped and got out of his vehicle before going back inside and leaving.
Paramedics took Cartagena to the hospital with critical injuries.
Finally, authorities booked Suarez into jail. His bail has been set at $28,340.
