FAIRFIELD, CA (October 26, 2020) — An elderly woman died in Friday’s hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Cement Hill Road near Peppertree Drive.
According to reports, the 11:00 p.m. accident that happened near Laurel Creek Park drew Fairfield Police Officers to the scene to investigate a hit-and-run.
Upon arriving, police found 81-year-old Namie Stewart, of Fairfield, lying in the roadway.
Due to her injuries, paramedics ushered her to a nearby hospital. However, she died despite treatment.
