Daniel Wooten Hit, Killed by Garbage Truck in Riverside
RIVERSIDE, CA (October 26, 2020) — A 45-year-old man from Riverside died Friday after a garbage truck struck him at Van Buren Boulevard and Constable Road.
According to news reports, the fatal crash unfolded around 6:40 a.m. For unknown reasons, a garbage truck slammed into the pedestrian.
The Riverside County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as Daniel Wooten.
Due to investigations and clean-up, crews closed Van Buren Boulevard and Constable Road as they scoured the scene for evidence, explaining what had occurred.
Still, information remains scant and anyone with insight should call investigators.
